Words Speak Louder;

a youth writers festival for anyone looking to sit in on workshops run by some incredible creative people.  

A massive thanks to YA novelist Claire Christian, short story writer, Thomas Alan and artist Amber Manteufel for helping bring this event to life!  

10:00am: Festival Opening 

10:15am : Session 1 with Claire Christian | Building a story zoom workshop 

11:00am : Morning beak 

11:30am: Thomas Alan | Finding inspiration for stories workshop 

12: 30: Lunch break 

1:30: Amber Manteufel | Illustration workshop 

2:30: Festival close

Extra information:

There will be an hour-long break where you are welcome to bring your own food to eat before the last workshop, otherwise feel free to visit one of the many cafes and restaurants nearby. 

Photos will be taken of the event, including attendees, if you do not wish to be featured in a photo, please let us know upon entry.

There will plenty of chairs and cushions to get cosy and write or draw on, but if you have a particular beanbag or chair from home you prefer, feel free to bring it along!
