This project explores the potential of drawing as process and therapeutic action rather than a product. The value of the work is to be found in the making of it, not in the resolved object. The inevitable and impending destruction of the artwork contributes to the artists application to the work. Participants will be made aware before and during that the work will be cut up by attendees at the opening event.
At this opening event the public is invited to purchase parts of the artwork. Frames and red paint markers are provided for people to mark out the area they wish to purchase/take home. Towards the end of the event these sections will be cut out and taken.
