In an increasingly digital world, knowing how to communicate via audio is becoming just as essential as writing well. While a social media presence is needed for all business owners, it’s difficult to cut through the noisy newsfeeds full of shallow soundbites and increasingly polarised posts.
Podcasting offers something special, for listeners and hosts alike. Because it’s long form and largely screen-free, podcasting allows for time, space, depth, nuance and focused attention. Even more than that, for business owners and changemakers it can be a powerful medium for connection and trust, storytelling and thought leadership.
That’s why The Lighthouse agreed the Podcasting Accelerator — a hands-on, three-week program designed to help local business owners go from idea to published podcast in Q4 of 2025.
This Podcasting Accelerator is led by Lighthouse tenant, Ellen Ronalds Keene from PERK Digital, a podcast production studio and digital strategy consultancy that’s been supporting purpose-led professionals in Toowoomba and across Australia for 8 years.
