A new Teen Art Program is launching at The Lighthouse in Term 1, designed especially for high school students (Years 7–12).
This 5-week studio-based program offers a small-group environment where teens can explore materials, experiment creatively, and develop confidence in their own artistic voice — without pressure or rigid outcomes.
Students will be guided through a range of creative prompts and art materials, with individual support and group discussion throughout the term. Each participant will develop at least two resolved artworks, with the opportunity to share their work in a small end-of-term exhibition.
This Term 1 program is offered as a pilot, allowing space to test, refine, and grow the studio offering for teens in future terms.
What’s included:
5 × 1-hour studio sessions
All art materials provided
Small group (maximum 10 students)
Creation of two exhibition-ready artworks
End-of-term showcase opportunity
